The Strathcona Cottage

The Strathcona Cottage is one of our favorite projects to date. We gutted this historic home to the studs and rebuilt every element, creating a space that’s essentially brand new while keeping its original charm. New windows fill the rooms with light, shiplap ceilings and beams add warmth, and wainscoting and built-ins bring character throughout. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully redesigned with custom cabinetry, and all plumbing and electrical were replaced to meet modern standards.

It was an extensive renovation, and seeing the house renewed was incredibly rewarding. The result is a home that preserves its historic roots while functioning completely as a modern, fully rebuilt house.
